Smartboard

Interactive whiteboards are all the rage and I have to admit that I love mine.  I have been using a smartboard for about five years.  The board is interactive and the software allows me to add creative content to my lessons.  I think the best part of the software is that the students can use it to create projects.  Unfortunately most of us do not have the time to really figure out how to use the software to its full potential.  But lucky for us there are people out there that are willing to challenge us and help us.  Therefore I highly recommend that you visit Teachers love smartboards.  http://smartboards.typepad.com/  This is an excellent place to get some great ideas and learn some advanced ways to use the smartboard in your classroom.  In particular my students like to play games that I make using the smartboard software, Who wants to be a millionaire and Jeopardy.  There are many others as well.
